ABOUT CNHK

The College of Nursing, Hong Kong (the College), began as the Hong Kong Nurses Association in 1964, is an organization of nurses committed to professional excellence in nursing for the benefit of the health of the community.


ICN MEMBERSHIP

The College has become a member of the International Council of Nurses (ICN) since 1965. Our membership of ICN permits us to send delegates to the International Council through which we contribute to the international affairs of the profession.

RENAMED AS "COLLEGE OF NURSING, HONG KONG "

After years of consolidation and hard work, the Association members and professionals, on a voluntary basis, secured a permanent premise for continuing education and other social activities. To further the development of continuing education for nurses, the Association was renamed "College of Nursing, Hong Kong" in 1992.
